Q. Does my house have post tension cables in the foundation?

A. Yes. We do not recommend altering the cables under any circumstance.  

Q:  How many years have you been in business and how many homes have you built?

            A:  Perry Hood Properties, Inc. has built over 2100 new homes in the
                 Tulsa Metro area since 1981.

Q:  Are you licensed and insured?

            A:  Yes.

Q:  How do you differ from other builders?

A:  We offer new homes in varying stages of construction from ready to move in to custom start.  Not all builders have the ability to build spec homes in the volume that we do.  We  also use quality Jay Rambo Company cabinets in all of our homes.

Q:  What kind of warranty do you offer?

            A:  One year builders warranty.

Q:  What are the key energy-saving features of the homes that you build?

A:  Radiant barrier decking, Low-E argon windows and HP+ house wrap.  Some appliances   and light fixtures are Energy star rated.

Q:  Do you build from home plans that you supply only? Or can I provide my own set of plans?

A:  We’ve hired the architect, paid the engineer and perfected the plans.   By building our functional floor plans in volume we pass the savings along to you.

Q:  Who will oversee the construction of my home?  Who should I contact with any questions I  may have?

A:  One of our highly qualified superintendents will be responsible for the construction of your future home.  Please contact your Perry Hood Properties, Inc. salesperson with all questions.

Q:  How and when will the final price for my home be determined?

A:  Once lot, floor plan and all options and upgrades have been decided upon your salesperson will give you your final sales price.

Q:  How often (and when) will I have access to the home during the building process?

            A:  Feel free to contact your new home salesperson with any questions or access needs.

Q:  How long will my home take to complete?

            A:  A custom start takes approximately 90-120 days depending on floor plan, municipality           and weather.

Q:  Do the neighborhoods have a Home Owners Association and/or Architectural Review    Committee? 

A:  All neighborhoods in which Perry Hood Properties, Inc. builds have a mandatory HOA.  Most have an Architectural Review Committee.  You will receive a copy of the covenants from the HOA management company along with pool access information (if applicable to your neighborhood) after closing.
